Good stuff...

Hey y'all...

Rehearsals have been going very well! After yesterday, I'm very happy with how the first Act looks! I can't wait until we have more of the set at the end of next week.

Also... Congratulations on exceeding our goal in Ad Sales! As a company, y'all have raised more than we projected. That is fantastic! I don't remember the last time that happened. Most of you worked very hard, and I am very grateful!

In addition, thanks to A.J., Aleah, Ryan, Maile, and Evan for taking care of all the Ad sales, organization, and placement into the program! It is a lot of work, and everybody should take a second to thank them for all their hardwork.

Keep up the good work everyone, and I'll see you on Sat. for dance rehearsal.

Peace.

Good stuff... and ads :o(

Good news first: Jake and Ryan should be commended on their work in tracking down and negotiating essential elements of the set design. Because of them, we will have rolling staircases and scaffolding! You both deserve a pat on the back.

Now for the bad news: Y'all have not raised half of your ad requirement yet! Ads are due on Mon., and you are not even half way there! This is worrisome. I hope that everyone plans on helping their team and getting out this weekend and doing your best!

Don't let me down. I'll see y'all for full cast rehearsal tomorrow!

Weekend Builds...

Hey y'all...

Thanks to everyone in Stagecraft for putting in their time to come in on weekends and help build the set for Urinetown.

Remember... please check the Stagecraft page on the website every week to see if you are called for weekend build. If you are not able to make it, you have to let the production team know (in writing) as soon as possible. Like I have mentioned before, if we have too many or not enough people for build, things become difficult. With too many people, a lot of y'all sit around and feel like we are wasting your time. With too few people, we don't get enough work done... and thus fall behind.

It is up to you how much (or how little) you learn in Stagecraft. So much of our work is hands on, and there is a great opportunity to learn by doing. If you prove that you are interested and committed, you have the potential to learn a great deal. Please prove to Angrette and me that you are both!

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to approach Angrette, Jake, Emily, or me. We will be happy to let you know how to go about achieving your goals in the class.

I look forward to another successful build tomorrow! Everybody have a good day off on Monday!

GO GET ADS!

Peace.

Open House and stuff...

Rehearsals are going very well! Y'all have been making me laugh a lot this week. Part of it is because I am a genius :o), the other, more substantial part is because you are all very funny.

Since we don't rehearsal over this three day weekend, I hope that all of you are going out and trying to fulfill your ad requirement. Some of you have not brought anything in yet :o( Remember, you only have a week and 1/2 left! Get out there and raise some $ for your show! (What has been brought in so far will only cover 1/4 of the Scenery budget...YIKES!)

I look forward to seeing/meeting most of your parents tonight. Please tell them to introduce themselves; although it is always entertaining playing the match game.

See y'all for full cast rehearsal tomorrow!
